Terms of service

Longlead watches public government records and infers which upcoming projects, facilities, or accounts are likely to need your company’s services before that need is publicly named. It delivers ranked opportunities — each citing the public record it was derived from, with a confidence score and an estimated lead-time window — plus drafted introductions for your review.

The service prepares outreach; it does not send it. Any outreach is sent by you, and you are responsible for it, including compliance with applicable laws such as CAN-SPAM and TCPA.

You sign in with a Google account. Keep access to your account secure, and give us accurate information about your company — the product’s output depends on it. You must be authorized to act for the company whose workspace you set up.

Longlead is sold as an annual subscription, billed annually, at the price stated in your order (currently $18,000/yr for a scope-exclusive plan). Scope-exclusivity means we do not sell a feed for your configured scope in your configured market to a direct competitor for the duration of your subscription, as defined in your order. Fees are non-refundable except where your order says otherwise or the law requires it.

• Don’t resell, redistribute, or scrape the feed or its contents.
• Don’t share your account outside the company that subscribed.
• Don’t use the service to break the law, including in any outreach you send.
• Don’t probe, disrupt, or attempt to access other customers’ data.

Your labels, annotations, notes, pipeline, and company configuration are yours. We use them only to operate the service for you, as described in the privacy policy — never to train AI models and never for another customer. The software, and the underlying public-record data it processes, are not yours to claim exclusive rights over.

The service’s output is inference: predictions derived from public records, each carrying its stated confidence and estimated timing. We work hard to make it accurate, and we show our evidence — but we do not guarantee that any opportunity is correct, complete, or will result in business. Verify before you commit resources.

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Longlead’s total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and Longlead is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profits damages.

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current subscription term. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms; if we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your prepaid term. On termination we delete your workspace data as described in the privacy policy.

If these terms change materially, we will update the date above and notify active customers by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
